Mesin BigBang RC213V Masih Mengecewakan

Yola dulur yang budiman…. info dadakan dari MCN yang berhasil mewawancarai Marquez tentang kesiapan dan hasil test pra musimnya bersama motor RC213V terbaru. Secara umum marc masih bicara dari sisi positif, dia selalu mengatakan menemukan perkembangan baru, selalu berusaha agar masalahnya segera terpecahkan. Hal ini kalok dilihat dari sisi yang lain menunjukkan bahwa dia belum puas dengan motornya, khususnya saat dipasangi mesin versi baru yang berkarakter Bigbang, dari sebelumnya yang screamer.

 

Memang marc sempat mendapat hasil bagus di sesi philip island kemarin, walau di akhir sesi, doi disalip oleh vinales, soal fastest lap. Namun itu dicoba bukan dengan motor bigbang, namun mesin screamer… mesin lawas tahun 2016. Bahkan di uji internal doi sempat crash dan cidera bahu. MCN mengendus bahwa tidak hanya marc, namun pebalap honda lainnya juga kurang puas dengan mesin bigbang.

Marquez and his fellow Honda riders have been disappointed so far with the latest iteration of the RC213V’s engine, with the switch from screamer to big bang firing order configuration failing to bring the increased rideability and acceleration and decreased aggression that they’ve craved.

Dari apa yang marquez ungkapkan, memang dia bicara optimis, berusaha terus walaupun jalannya kecil, sempit tapi masih bisa diusahakan…. disini menunjukkan bahwa RC213V bigbang emang belum menjadi pondasi mesin yang bagus, mantab sebagai base parameter. Padahal base parameter adalah setelan default yang kemudian disetting ulang sesuai dengan masing-masing karakter sirkuit. Jika basenya kurang bagus, maka settingan juga akan kurang bagus.

“We found a small road, a small way. Every day I was saying the same thing, that we were missing something on the electronics and the engine. But on the final day, especially in the afternoon we improved quite a lot. In the morning we did quite a big change and we spent a lot of time trying big things. But then in the afternoon we concentrate more in our base. We worked on these problems and immediately in every exit the lap time was coming better and better and better because I was feeling better on the bike.

It looks like they start to understand what I want with this engine. Still it’s not what I want but it’s coming better and better. HRC is working really hard. They are trying to fix the problems that I feel. Step-by-step also we are looking to have something more in the engine.”

“On this day last year we were much further from the top. But yeah, we spend more than 100 laps per day working on this. We spent a lot of time. But I think it’s normal. It’s a new engine. We must understand it. But it’s important to arrive in Qatar and from the beginning have a good base. During the race weekend we cannot do 100 laps per day.

Yah….. bagaimanapun ini adalah HRC… dimana tahun kemarin saat separuh musim empot-empotan motornya, di separuh akhir seperti disulap. Mendadak RCV menjadi sangat perfect di tangan pembalapnya……. Kenapa bisa? hanya HRC yang tahu layauuuwww….

  2. btw yamaha M1 itu pake big bang atau crossplane sih sebetulnya, kalo big bang tapi tone suaranya kok mirip banget sama R1 crossplane crankshaft?

    • Dr literasi yg ai baca crossplane pergerakan pistonnya emang karakter bigbang… Lebih smooth kenaikan powernya, walau capaian tdk segede screamer… Tp pengaruh ke vibrasi n agresivitas mesin signifikan
